Can't even find a photo of MM in Angels uniform.  Last gasp of his career, two games, 7 AB in 1991.  Then retirement.

Hard for some to remember or realize that (He of the 530 foot homer)Dave Kingman played about 10 games in the middle of the season for the Angels in 1977. He hit 2 hR's in one of those  games. I guess his .194 avg didn't sit well with the team, so he was traded away. Hit 48 HR's for the Cubs 2 years later.

Steve Ontiveros comes to mind...not sure he'd quantify as a 'star' but he had some good seasons.

Not exactly the same, but remember when Ramon Ortiz reappeared at age 40 for 7 G/4 GS for the Blue Jays in 2013, nine years after his last game as an Angel?
Chris Bootcheck also resurfaced that year for one game with the Yankees, four years after his last MLB appearance.

Saw Bob Oliver crush a deep homer late in an extra inning game in '72 with Bobby Winkles managing.  Oliver's homer was the deepest fly I saw until Alex Rodriguez came along and routinely crushed bombs again us.
