Cole was never coming here. The Angels were used to drive up the price for the Yankees. 

From what we know, Arte offered him the largest pitching contract in history. The Yankees were always offering more.

I don't like Arte but missing out on Cole was not his fault.

But it would be nice to get Scherzer this offseason...

Yes right out of I Love Lucy.  He subs for Sterling who actually missed Games due to Health recently and he also broadcasts Eagles football Games.  Very knowledgeable and versatile bilingual likeable fellow.
