Hurricane Ida sounds like it’s going to be gnar

Tornados in New Jersey.  Trout must be thrilled.

Cat 4 hurricane.  Massive power outages.  One levee failing.  Death toll in Louisiana.  2

Remnants pass through New York and New Jersey.  Death toll 9 and rising.

I guess New Orleans did learn a lesson that NY didn't listen to.

So my godson posted a video of his condo complex near a river in PA.  Looks like all the cars that were in the lot by the river were underwater, or really in the deep stuff.  When he posted the video, sedans were about 3/4 door high and suv's 1/2 door high in water.  

What struck me about the video was that a lot of the sedans had their trunks open, and a good many had their windows completely rolled down.  So does that happen when a car floods?  I've never heard or seen that before.
