Wouldn't have minded if they took Rocker there (said I hoped he'd fall to them earlier in the thread) but that could just be me buying into the hype around him for the last 2 years.  I'll defer to the FO and hopefully a few years from now it will be an after thought if Bachman produces.  There's gotta be something with Rocker if he goes from a guy teams were drooling over as a future #1 pick to a guy who is sliding further than most mocks predicted.

Lol everyone wanted them to draft a pitcher because we need pitching ASAP and they draft the most MLB-ready pitcher in the entire class and people complain because he wasn’t the big name. Love this place.

The pick is fine. It’s rounds 2-10 that really matter.

As if I have a clue!  I'll leave it to the Angels scouting staff to make the choice they believe is correct.  1/2 the guys in this first round won't even probably be in the minor leagues in 5 years.  I'll check back in on this pick in 2024.

Dude he’d been floated as the one of the top pitchers of this draft. Sure we don’t know how things will pan out—but Rocker is very well known by now
