It’s obviously worse, but Bundy is not worth re-signing at this point. Last season appears to have been a one hit wonder.

 

Edit: or the A’s sign him for cheap and he repeats his stellar 2020 season. Lol.

Brnovich - 2.73 era in A+.  37k in 26.1ip with 15h, 5bb.   
Zach Peek - 3.86 era in A.  24k in 18.2ip with 14h, 9bb
Isaac Mattison - above 10 era in both AAA and mlb.  

at some point it doesn't matter what you get or even how an acquired player performs when it helps you to a record of 5-6 games below .500 every 60 games.  

every trade of minor league talent for major league talent is almost worthless if you don't win games while that player is there.
