I’m an idiot so I’m sure my solution, which is more simple, probably wouldn’t work.  Instead of doing a search of the player/pitcher, simply take a few baseballs an inning and have them labeled and tested.

Yep...   I have a hard time getting bent at the "cheaters" when the league's attempt to "curtail" behavior is so limp wristed. 

I get it, the MLBPA would get involved but FFS, I don't see how someone looking to get paid won't risk getting caught.  Hell, there are probably teams that will view a guy willing to take those risks as a "gamer".

It's just a lot of hot air but as always Jon Heyman is being the league's hype man.
