Oh, I would be, too--but I think his on-base skills would make him a better candidate than Ohtani.  And if the goal is moving Fletcher out of that spot, I'm not sure who would be better.

Gosselin should have gone home.  Terrible coaching at 3rd.  I don’t care what they were saying about Ohtani coming up.  Wrong.  That would have been a wild play for Gurriel to make.  Almost surely would have scored.

Ohtani pulled a pitch 3-4 baseballs off the outside corner to 1B. He was hitting those oppo when he was in the zone.

3rd in baseball @ .289 with RISP, Certainly doesn’t feel like it. Situational hitting has been horrible lately.
