It sucks for him that his career ended so out of the blue, and his chances of a few more milestones are gone.

But he should have been the bigger man, and retired before it came to this. As bad as the angels look for doing this, he brought it on himself. Nobody, including him, should be upset they did this.

They made him very rich. He didnt perform. For a decade, more or less. His years in St Louis dont give him special treatment here. It was well past time
