Just play Ward full time and let him take his knocks.

Walsh struggled too but eventually he figured it out and it has paid much in dividends in what he has produced now.

We need to find a true solution at RFer instead of moving Walsh there just to have Pujols in the lineup.

At best you get a league average hitter with league worst defensive 1st and slowest runner on the bases.

Ward and Thaiss put up similar offensive numbers as Walsh in the minors.  Until Walsh last year none of them got consistent at bats.  Shouldn't they be given a chance like Walsh.  Maybe the lightning strikes twice.

Ward really has never been given consistent at bats.  He played well down the stretch last year.
