I'm really intrigued to see how all these pitchers pan out and then how the organization spreads them out so as not to create a total logjam in the system. Our Top-50 Midseason Prospect report shows that we desperately need starting pitching.

Yeah I was just looking at that Dave.  I tweeted that Green, Fernandez, Almonte, Middleton, Alcantara, Swanson, Hurtado, Perez and McGowin could all end up as SP in A Ball next year.  The list is probably even longer than that.  

 

I imagine they'll either have to hold some of them in Arizona, promote some to Inland Empire, transition some to RP and maybe piggy back a couple others.  Regardless, suddenly the Angels have more depth than they know what to do with at the lowest levels, which is a good thing.  Some probably will flame out, others will find their niche as relievers.  But as far as SP goes, I'm willing to bet there's at least three future major league starters from that group, if not more.
