despite the loss, if you asked anyone a week ago if you would be satisfied with a 4-2 homestand against the White Sox and Astros to start the year, we'd be happy with that.  Last year it would have be

Here comes the Upton we all know. The first 4 games of the season have been a mirage. It's all downhill from here for him. We should have kept Daniel Nava. *obviously sarcasm*

Tough game. A few mistakes and their pitchers were better past the early innings. Have to start a new winning streak.

On to the Blue Jays. I paid for MLB Extra Innings so I could avoid their broadcasters. Now it seems that I have to watch their feed because MLB shows only the home team feed. Probably watch with the sound muted.

Good starting pitching and the bats go cold and the blowpen outside of Slegers and Mayers makes an appearance.

Either way, we could have swept these chump and have looked pretty damn good over the first 6 games of the season.

If Iglesias is the biggest issue on the pitching staff then this team is probably winning a lot of games.

Am I the only one that is not that worried about Iglesias? If anything, I am worried about Maddon's usage of him.

Iglesias looks like a legit closer. I'm stoked to have him.

Maddon's bullpen usage and situational decisions are head scratchers at times though.

Except a "legit closer" is flexible and will perform in any situation, not just when the situation is just perfect for them.
