Lagares/Ward will work out better in the long run.   Fowler can’t hit or field anymore.   And they have plenty of solid clubhouse guys even without him.

If you look at GIDP per PA with a runner on first, Albert had a higher % than all of them with the exception of Upton.

Rendon had a .838 OPS with RISP last year. .863 with runners on.

Upton had an .817 OPS with RISP. He was awful with a runner on 1st though, I'll give you that.

Stassi had a 1.048 OPS with RISP. .986 with men on.

Fletcher had an .885 OPS with RISP. .878 with men on.

Pujols? .649 with RISP. .763 with men on.
