So the VPN thing doesn't work when I try to access it on my phone.  MLB won't let me connect when the VPN is on.

I think MLB.tv is having issues right now. My whole network here at work is on a VPN and I eventually got it going.

which vpn are you using, what kind of phone do you have?

I have Norton's VPN.  It works on my laptop and I was able to watch the game on MLBTV using my VPN.  It doesn't work on my phone for some reason and I didn't work when I tried to mirror it to my TV.

I ended up ordering cable... but I won't get it until Saturday.  If one of these streaming companies works out a deal, I'll be dumping cable again. 

I'm happy I was able to watch it on my laptop.
