Huh? That money is already gone to Scioscia no mater if he gets fired or finishes the contract so the real question is whether Arte is willing to spend more money on a new manager.

My point is that Dipoto has assembled a poor team and short of firing he and MS at least gut his coaching staff. Butcher is the worst. Eppard is ineffective. Start with those two. After the season Arte has some major decisions to make.
