It seems impossible that he would see 36 pitches in one day.  I'm used to him seeing only 12 on any given day.  Unless he's out for back spasms, dizziness, etc.

I've been to three games in one day.

Happened during the summer of '78. Buddy and I had tickets to see the dodgers v. giants on one night and the angels v. rangers the next night, who were both playing at home at the same time. A freak summer storm washed out both home games that first night, so the dodgers game was rescheduled for the next day at 1:00 and the angels were rescheduled for a doubleheader starting at 5:00. We went to the dodger game first, then made a beeline down to Anaheim, where our tickets got us into both games of the twin bill.

I'm telling you, that was one very long day.

They've had several hours of heavy rain this evening, but it's starting to taper off to a light rain.

The Weather Channel forecast for Boston for Saturday calls for AM rain, high of 76. Sunday, mostly sunny, high of 80. Hopefully for Katie they will get some baseball in.

If the rain stops and they can get the field reasonably dried out, they should be able to start the first game on time.

 

There's been some flooding in various locales. I don't know how bad the rain was at Fenway.
