Bush's line looks pretty bad but he gave up only one xbh.  And a had an inherited runner score.  

Bachman struggled in the first.  Then settled down.

Smith was recently added to the updated Top 30 prospect list by MLB Pipeline, ranking 27th 

Scouting grades: Fastball: 50 | Slider: | 50 | Curveball: 45 | Changeup: 45 | Control: 50 | Overall: 40

Smith spent four years pitching at Princeton, the first two as a reliever before moving into the rotation for his junior and senior years. He missed a fair amount of bats, but struggled with command -- both at school and during his turn as a reliever in the Cape Cod League. Still, the Angels saw enough to take a flier on the left-hander by selecting him in the 18th round of the 2019 Draft and signing him for just $3,000. Since then, he’s worked tirelessly to turn himself into a viable prospect, one who pitched his way across three levels of the system, reaching Double-A, in 2021.

Undersized at 5-foot-11, Smith is a relentless competitor who has willed himself to where he is now. His four-seam fastball has averaged 92 mph this year and has touched 94, thrown with some ride up in the zone. He has a unique, sweepy slider that has incredible horizontal movement, a pitch that has missed a ton of bats. He’ll fold in a curve early in counts, likes to use his changeup and even started adding a cutter in 2021.

Smith’s command has improved tremendously in what’s been his first true full year as a pro, allowing him to go from a piggyback starter in Low-A all the way up to Double-A in one season. His ceiling is definitely limited, but he’s already exceeded expectations.

Davis Daniel has been lights out after struggles in his first two AA starts.

Past 39.2 innings, sub 2.00 ERA, never allowing more than two runs in that time.  Consistency 

John Swanda has dominated his past four starts.  24 innings, 1.50 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, including 6.1 no hit innings in previous start to tonight

Time for promotion to A+ ball, as he’s pitched over 100 innings in A ball this season?

Really nice to see Swanda re-establish himself as a prospect after TJS.  Crow, Davis, and Swanda who you have mentioned recently have all basically been bonuses this year. Kochanowicz  (my auto-correct tried to change his name to "No haha aids"), hopefully takes that next step and joins them next season.

For all the consternation some have felt about the position players, the pitching side of the system has taken a significant step forward.  Given Arte's tendencies, that might be the biggest plus possible.

So is Davis legit? Too early to tell?

What's his ceiling? It's easy to say "backend starter" but to me it seems he has far more potential. But I don't follow these guys and my knowledge is above average but not anywhere near you guys.

12.64 K/9, 1.53 BB/9 (holy fuck), 3.03 xFIP, and and a 2.68 ERA despite a .324 BABIP. This is at Double A.

Can't find any stats on his pitches. Spin rate, velocity etc...

He's the most intriguing prospect to me right now.
