Prediction Thread

We seem to do this every year.  Predict the contract and the team of the free agents.  There are a few free agents out there of interest, guys like Bauer, Realmuto, Springer,Tanaka, Odorizzi, McCann.  Also you can predict a trade if you’d like.  So pick one or two and make a prediction.

Bauer- Angels 6 years $144 million.

Springer- Mets- 5 years $110 million

Realmuto- Mets- 5 years $110 million

McCann- Angels 3 years $27 million

If Mets get Bauer and McCann I’m not completely ruling out Springer going there either.

But if he doesn’t I think the Jays prefer Springer over Realmuto. The Jays absolutely must end up with someone. If Mets bow out on Springer I think he ends up in Toronto. Then I really don’t know where Realmuto ends up.

If Jays get neither. They’re going to trade for Lindor.

Predicting Springer and McCann at the least to the Mets

Bauer comes down to either the Halos or the Dogs.  If the Dogs, it’s because he grew up a Dogs fan (like Cole and the Skanks).

I know this is not realistic, but if it did happen, everyone played to career norms,stayed healthy and the team gelled it should get them to the world series.
