I am sure there are several prospects in our system that Minasian and his team don't think much of of.  It will likely be a guy that seems to sting a bit on the surface as the ptbnl.  I can live with a Robinson Pina or Oliver Ortega or Orlando Martinez.

Maybe, maybe not.   Look at the names traded for Chapman..    Rookie Davis, Eric Jagielo, Tony Renda, and Caleb Cotham.   Reds have been on the fuzzy end of a few trades when they were trying to move salaries.

But I’ve also seen a lot of Reds fans really upset about it and really confused with what their front office is doing.

He was ok, when he was cheap! but, still gave up a lot of home runs. He was one of those guys who could throw multiple innings for multiple days during the week. So, that was his main positive! Then it was 70/30 he would give up a bomb in those games.

That was a brutal game for him.   Plus, if getting rid of Iglesias allows them to keep Gray, that's an easy choice to make if I were a Reds fan.
