Halos going for it next year, to get good players you have to give up something, you cannot keep all your prospect. Getting into playoffs we all want means giving up players.

But there is a lot of fans happy with this trade also. Outsiders looking in (non reds fans) are saying we easily won the trade. 
 

So no clue what to go off on. All I know is he improves our god awful bullpen so I’m happy.

Worse at SS is a bit of a stretch. If Simmons is an 8.5 at this point in his career then Iglesias is a 8.25.

The unprotected Rule 5 guys theory actually makes a ton of sense.  IDK if we can trade a guy to Reds that is currently unprotected or not.  If we can, then Reds could just protect him unless they are up against the 40 already.

He’s an exciting closer to watch. I think Calloway will do wonders with him and he will be out best closer since K Rod.

Well they kinda go hand in hand. They think the franchise in a state of disarray because they have up a really good closer for practically nothing.

I’m a huge Simmons fan but this is just a post that lacks a lot of context.
