With Hermosillo and Goodwin out this opens up more room for Ward/Marsh.

I’ve seen on like 6 different occasions that Michael Kohn was part of the Angels organization this year and get a kick out of it every time.

No, it makes them more valuable within the organization that now have less depth.

At least Soto got to play in three games in the majors before being cut. At 30 I doubt there is much more than the independents that would want him.

Oh no not Hermosillo he was going to be such a great 7th outfielder for us.

I could see Hermosillo catching on and being a good 4th outfielder for someone. He's got a bit of everything, but needs playing time and health. He's had all of 118 PA spread out of three years...hard to judge a player on that. I would have liked to keep him, personally.

Herm is probably that quintessential AAAA player that will bounce around for several years.  He might catch somewhere at some point where a team gives him a legit shot because of that power speed combo and the fact that he can play a solid defensive CF.  Probably in a platoon role with a team that isn't in contention who can wait around a bit to see if something clicks.  He'll never have that opportunity with the halos.  I think there's about a 10%, maybe 20% chance he works his way into getting major league at bats.  The biggest problem is that he's just not a very good hitter.  

If anything happens it'll be when he's 28/29 and several threads will be made about some torrid start he's having.  He's worth taking a shot on if you've got the space as a high ceiling low floor type that's most likely going to impress you with his raw talent that won't actually translate into major league success.
