I think Mattingly is sincere here. He played that way in New York, with grit, and was a great clutch hitter. Nobody ever questioned his will to win.

I wasn't trying to find something wrong with his game. It was stupid because he could've been injured sliding like that.

It's going to be hard to beat Trout rookie season. He was great in all facets of the game. hitting, power, steals, runs, war  and great defense, robbing many home runs.

Eithier already has his house on the market. Dude is a 4th OF this year if he returns and isn't traded. Dodgers will have to eat more than half of his remaining deal. He is only a platoon Corner OF now. Not that valuable.

Trout is the man. Puig should have been the signing this off-season though, and not Hackilton.

Imagine an outfield of Trout, Bourjos, and Puig at some point in 2013 and beyond.
