So Jones and Soto both got their first major league hit in consecutive at bats. Wonder when that happened before, if ever, outside of the first couple of seasons of professional baseball.

I'm certainly glad I missed the Julio Teheran mess in the first. I understand from the Dodgers broadcast they are showing on MLB Network that Julio struck out the side, gave up two hits and walked enough guys to run his pitch count to 52. And yet the Doggies scored just three runs. What an escape. If he doesn't have second year on his contract, I assume Julio just packed his things and is headed home.

Meanwhile, I watched the Lakers sleep through much of the third quarter and squander a lead. Apparently the Lakers have shaken off their snooze and lead by 10.
