I thought with Upton out, Maddon might play Adell in the OF....but I guess he wants to give Ohtani some AB’s and he wants to keep Ward in the lineup....

I don’t have a problem with the lineup....makes sense....Adell hasn’t earned the AB’s....I just thought Maddon might play Adell....

Walsh looks elite, maybe I'm seeing too much into it but he looks good even when he gets out, that was a nice battle there with one of the top pitchers in baseball.

Heaney is what he is. He's not a frontline starter and never will be. But from the looks of this year he's a solid 3/4 guy.

Yes, we still desperately need pitching.

Yeah we do need just one more good arm not the best arm but a reliable arm like Barria, who has earned a spot in the rotation next year imo.

We need more than that, we need a front line starter and another middle of the rotation starter. We need to replace at least half the bullpen with some quality relievers...

Make Trevor Bauer an offer he can't refuse. With only 1 year left of Pujols anchor of a contract, Arte has another chance to right this ship.

Actually, I think we'd be fine with Bauer + Bundy signed to an extension.  Bauer, Bundy, Heaney, Barria, and Canning should actually be a very solid rotation.  Ohtani will get another shot to pitch for sure too, and based on what we saw in 2018, I wouldn't count him out entirely.  Imagine adding 2018 Ohtani to the above rotation - that'd be really good.

Detmers can take over Heaney's spot in 2022, after Heaney departs next offseason as a free agent.
