Adell would be in Triple-A this season until he proved that he was ready for the majors. If he didn't prove that this season then he would've stayed at Triple-A all year with maybe a September call-up. He had a K-rate of 33% in Triple-A last season and got by on his tools. That's a huge red flag of someone not ready to face major league pitching. It is not surprising to see why he's struggled (40% K-rate this season) so much this season.

He’s actually a very good AA player that’s being rushed along.

Adell would have eventually needed to get some MLB at bats, might as well do it in this season since Adell hasn't been the reason we suck this season (See: Pitching staff)

I read somewhere that Adell has struck out on every 3-2 at bat he’s had.  That’s not great.

he was no were close, even in spring training he had 50% k rate. Personally i felt Marsh was ahead of him in plate discipline

Limited success in AA doesn't usually translate to immediate success in the bigs. He needs a full season of AAA at least.

He is over matched right now and in normal season would be in minors. He has so much raw talent and see him next year in minors. Do not give up on this young man.Look at Ohtani this year he has taken a step back, baseball not easy sport to have success in.
