Just how much have the prospects progressed in Long Beach?

It’s been what, two months since starting workouts in Long Beach?

Does anyone have any word on how the workouts are going?

DESPERATELY need a longer Fall League this autumn!

I don’t think it’s going to happen man.  I guess we just wait and see with the prospects.

AO, I love you, but how the hell would anyone know?  Even if Maddon came on and said something along the lines of, “man we are really impressed with Brandon Marsh, he has made great strides in yada, yada, yada” that could simple just be coach speak.  They have developed as much as anyone can develop under these circumstances plus the normal maturity that comes from another year removed from being a teenager.

I wonder what’s going on with the development camps in the Dominican.  Are they operating ?  Maybe some guys will get some professional play in there ?

When all is said and done Adell is going to be really good, despite how he looks now.  If he is going to be really good, does it matter that he didn’t come up and rake right away?  Probably not.  

These young phenoms really put unrealistic expectations on young guys who come up.
