Goodwin is an ok 4th OF'er on a good team....his value is not significant...

But it appears Packy isn't in the player pool as well so that's interesting. According to @Jeff Fletcher: "They get LHP Packy Naughton (Reds No. 14 prospect) and a PTBN for Brian Goodwin. Bear in mind that PTBN's are possibly better players than usual this year, because players outside the 60-man pool can't be traded."

But it appears Packy isn't in the player pool as well so that's interesting. Maybe Fletcher can explain.

I trust Epp to put together a bunch of #4's and #5's and maybe one #3.

Eppler did quite well picking up Goodwin for nothing....got good production from him....and turned him into two P prospects.  That's a job well done.

The Jays were also giving up a PTBNL or cash for Taijuan Walker and reports are that the PTBNL is a top-30 prospect in the Jays system.
