Rooting for your team to lose to get a higher draft pick makes no sense to me. Especially in baseball versus the NFL or the NBA. The MLB draft is not a sure thing at the top of the 1st round.

I want the Angels to win every game they can and for the young guys like Rengifo, Adell, Walsh and Barria to be a big part of the wins.

I mean, if the Angels win the next three against Houston this weekend they are only 5 games out with with 18 to go. 13 of those are against the Rangers (7), Rockies, (3) and DBacks (3). Stranger things have happened.

I watch every game televised.  I hope to see the youngsters play well.  I hope our starting pitching continue to pitch well so we cam extend Simmons and only need one starting pitcher.

At the end I expect the blowpen to blow the lead and hope we get a high draft pick so we can draft a front line pitcher

Angels can surpass Pittsburgh, just gotta give Upton and Pujols some more starts down the stretch

Think of the White Castle endorsement deals this kid has waiting for him!

I think you guys have to stop including Shohei Ohtani in the potential pitching depth chart for the next 3 years.  As depressing as that is to say

I wrote in yesterday's game(s) thread and I'll say it again. The Angels' lineup is just too good for them to finish at the bottom of the Major League standings. 26-34 isn't going to get a top-three pick and that's where I think they're headed.

26-34 means they'd have gone 10-9 the rest of the way. That may sound nuts on the face of it, especially when you consider how terrible their record is. Or at least was a half a week ago. But the salient fact re their schedule is that, after tonight, they're done with the A's and Asterisks for the season.

I just want the Angels to draft a player that can contribute.  I really don't care where that player plays.  I am tired of Angels developing really good AAAA players.  They need to develop major league players or find a way for players who can't play at that level to be useful.....like what the A's did with Barreto.

Have you actually taken a look at our lineup? It's awful.

The only thing that worries me is the majority of our schedule remaining are against bad teams (aside from SD and LAD).

Knowing the Angels, this means they will get hot and finish like 2 games from a playoff spot but have like the 9th overall pick.....

But then the narrative will be  “something to build on”
