I still doubt the actual trade was Rengifo for just Pederson and Stripling. 

btw, Stripling and Pederson have sucked this season. We would be maybe 2 games better in the W column if that trade went through.

Right.  Stripling has an ERA above Canning and Heaney.  Joc has been pretty bad as well.  I agree it could have started out as Rengifo and some minor leaguers, because we were taking money to keep them under the tax threshold.  Then when the deal changed and they took on Price, they were no longer getting under the threshold.  I still want to know who the prospects were.
