Prediction August 5th Angels vs Mariners

Lets have some fun on a slow morning here on AngelsWin.  What are your predictions for today’s game.

We have Teheran making his first start.  We are facing Gonzalez who pitched well against us last time (6 1/3 innings 2 runs, 3 hits).  

Presumably we will see Adell again along with Trout and Upton in the outfield.  

So what predictions do you have for tonight’s game?

I’m going to start with this:

Teheran will go 4 1/3 innings giving up 2 runs.  

Adell will go 2-4 with a double.

Angels will win 5-3 (same score as last night).

Trout will hit a home run.

Adell will go 1-4 with a single.

Rendon 2-3 with a double and a walk

Angels win 5 to 4.

Good thread. I won’t make a prediction on tonight’s game but things are finally coming together. With Adell, Trout, Rendon and with Ohtani focused only on hitting and if Simmons returns soon they should be able to put together a competitive run.
 

Joe Maddon looks like he’s done with all of the meet and greets and is pushing forward to get everyone onboard with winning. I think we’ll see a different vibe moving forward.

Yep.

Adell is going to get on base a lot.

Rendon  turns the corner with a couple of hits.

Adell gets a hit, but strikes out at least once.

Trout walks twice, hits a double. 

Angels win 5 - 3.

Trout goes yard for the 2nd straight day.

Fletch goes 2-4 and scores 2 runs.

Angels build a 6-2 lead, Buttrey and Robles will come in (not necessarily in that order) and give up 3 runs, but the Angels will win 6-5 with the tying run on 3rd.
