Brian Goodwin will platoon with Justin Upton in left field; Jo Adell will be everyday rightfielder

If Goodwin isn’t traded, add 10 starts to him and take some away from the non-Troutian others.

Subtract the 35 from Upton and if Goodwin is traded subtract his and just do Marsh Trout Adell. Let's play for the future. While we are at it make Fletcher full time SS.

Too bad we extended Upton. He would've been gone after this year. Our team just seems to get themselves in some pickles. I like pickles but not these kinds. I'm glad Maddon made the move. Like others mentioned, Scioscia would still have his finger way inside of his ass right now.

He would have been gone after next season, now we have him till after ‘22.

Goodwin should play every game in LF.

Upton should be on the bench to be used as a PH late in games.
If the Angels are up by 10 runs in the 8th, put Upton in to rest one of the OFers.

I was trying to be realistic. Further, I'm not quite ready to accept that Upton utterly sucks - we're just 11 games in. But yes, I'd like to see them move towards a Marsh-Trout-Adell outfield for 2021.

Bright news is that Goodwin should start more games in LF than Upton, since there are more RHP's.   Upton needs to earn his starting spot back.

Someone remind Maddon this is only a 60 game season. Ward really provides nothing to this team and he doesn't have the upside to justify playing him.
