And everyone expects with this ownership, we will get a better GM?  I can see things getting far worse because whoever is the GM would have to remake this pitching staff and team..  Also the worst thing that ever happened for the Angels is not tanking like Houston, the Cubs and other teams were able to do..  They always tried to rebuild while maintaining the illusion of contendership. That severely limited the amount of decent prospects that could be picked up to replenish the farm.

What I don’t get is, how does one team constantly have so-so relief pitching.

After 2008, how many seasons produced a solid bullpen?

Even 2009 had Gopher Ball Fuentes and drastically declining Shields.   Other than Oliver and maybe Jepsen, who was reliable that year?,
