California is the best place, but I don't think they would have gotten approval.  The reason you can't play in 100 degree whether is because it sucks and there is really no reason to.  Also it isn't 100 degrees, it could be 115 degrees.  I was in Havasu two weeks ago and it was 117-119.

I totally get that. But like I said it doesn’t have to be Arizona. It could be California or another state. Not sure why California wouldn’t be acceptable. They were one of the choices for the NHL bubble.

Because of our current Covid rate and our governor.

I don’t know what that has to do with it? Florida has a high Covid rate and the NBA is there. Granted they have a more lenient governor. But we are in California and games are being played. So I don’t think the governor would have stated you couldn’t play games here. We are playing games here. I think your argument doesn’t hold water.

What do you mean you cant? I mean you can you’d just have to do it early morning or late night games and do night games. There have been games played in the heat before. Football players do it in freezing temperatures or in hot humid conditions and in Football you are exerting way more energy than a baseball player. You’re out on the field for three outs and then you’re in the dug out and bat 3-5 times a game. It could be done.

You obviously don't get that baseball needs to make a profit and 7am start times won't reap any viewers just as 9pm start times. Everything in between is 112 degrees. Fine for a three games series but not a season.

It is currently 111 degrees in the Phoenix downtown right now. 109 in Goodyear. A cool 108 in Tempe. This is called a mild week.

I get it. Arizona is only one of many locations where they could have housed bubbles for teams.

Do you think what MLB is doing now is successful? Or do you think the season is likely going to end with out a conclusion with the latest reports?

I think what baseball outlined as guidlines would be far more successful had the players stayed within those guidlines. But there is no way to prevent infection if guys are wandering off to strip clubs and casinos. Those players should face suspension.

Agreed which I think "bubble" cities could have helped with it.
