Police 1 Ninja 0

The old adage don't bring a knife to a gun fight played itself out as a deranged man dressed as a Ninja attempted to assualt Detroits finest with a broadsword and two knives. One knife he threw and hit one officer below the eye sending him to the hospital.

After Tazers proved to be innefective an officer discharge one round but the suspect continued to attack, then jumped in the patrol car. A bystander watching the events taking placed drove his vehicle into the drivers side door pinning the Ninja inside where he was finally arrested. The suspect was transported to a local hospital where he died of his wound.

No reports of the suspects name or identity although some neighbors said they knew the guy and he frequently dressed like a Ninja.

Dumb death for the dumb guy. I am a lurker and do not comment things usually, but is this a new way of cuicide or he is a complete idiot for real.

Lol at using a taser on a dude with a broadsword and knives. That's why one of the cops had to go to the hospital with a knife in his face

I don't have a problem with them using non lethal weapons like a taser on this guy. It was the chance to subdue him without killing him. Once it escalated by Ninja guy then lethal force was in place. The cop who fired did only dischage one round so he at least showed restraint instead of emptying a clip into him. I think both wanted to disarm him and take him into custody over the morgue.
