Albert will play as long as management lets him. It's on them to see the light and bid him adieu when his contract is up. I don't blame him for wanting to hang around and get paid gobs of money. There are milestones to achieve!

Arte could buy him out right now and open up a very valuable roster spot. This season is unique because Arte will most likely cut the budget for next season and then attempt to work with the rest of the owners on a new CBA. That combined with a short season and whatever they can get out of what’s left of Upton makes this season very important. They should buy Albert out now and fill his roster spot with youth if they’re going to take winning seriously this season.
