Angels announce 55 players scheduled to report to 2020 Summer Camp (As part of 60-Man Player Pool)

The Fact that Crod made it in the 60 man roster just shows is value and what the organization thinks about him.

I think this might help him, he'll get to go thru develop work on specific stuff, get the enough rest.

A little surprised that JC Ramirez isn't on the initial list.

I wonder if he is still on the DL? Doesn't have to be added until he is activated?

Do players on the 60 man get a pay bump?

I assume that they get paid similarly to 40-man roster folks. Players on the 40, but not on active, make over 100k per season if they've had major league call up. Players without any major league service time, but who are placed on the 40-man make between 40-85k. The players who get called up or are on the active roster make the prorated minimum every day they are up.

Update, 2020 salary (for 162 games) for players in the minors on their 2nd year is $91,800. First year is $46,000. I cannot find the bit about the 100k+ Salary but I know i saw it somewhere.

Basically this number is prorated too, so I doubt that the 30-34 players on the taxi squad are going to cost any more than $1.5M for the season. Total.
