This is against the rules. The DH can only stand in for the pitcher.

personally I understand the reason, due to the Pandemic, but I hope this stupid, and horrendous rule is kicked out of baseball after this season.

I know this is sacrilege but it'd be better if the games ended in a tie.

A 60 game season is going to be filled with randomness as it is, putting a runner at second is the equivalent of a coin flip.

Having the outcome be a tie, rather and win/loss is more descriptive of the game itself.

Then they may as well just flip a coin after 10 innings to ensure there will be an outcome. That gives teams that suck a punchers chance.

Why do we want to do that? There is already a decent enough chance that a legitimately bad team wins the world series this year.

Hey dudes! Could someone explain how the signing of the first round pick works? I’ve seen a few teams have already signed there’s. Is There’s a reason why it feels like it’s taking so long?

Im well aware of that, but I was trying to see if there was anymore insight, or if someone had more information as to what the prospect wants and that kinda stuff

There isn't any real argument on what the money will be.  It's slot plus 5% max unless he thinks he can do better than the 10th pick by going back next year.    There is also this bit of info...

For both 2020 and ’21, only up to $100,000 of each signing bonus is due within 30 days of approval and 50% of the remainder on July 1 in both 2020 and ’21.

If it was about money, it's kinda pointless given how it's set up for this and next year.

Ours has signed for just over $4.6 million.

There is a thread dedicated to it on the main board.
