Cops Being Thugs

Who do black  criminals have to blame?

Black people who truly break the law have the same people to blame as white people who break the law: themselves.

Black people don't have themselves to blame for the stereotype that black = criminal thug. That stereotype was invented by white people in the South following the emancipation (that's a fancy word that refers to when slavery was outlawed in America). The economy collapsed, and so they started arrested black people for petty crimes (like loitering) and putting them in chain gangs. Propaganda about the "dangerous black man who will rape your white daughter" was distributed to encourage people to turn in black people to the police. Slavery was no longer legal, but arresting black people for dubious reasons resulted in a new kind of slavery: prisons.

When "The Birth of a Nation" was released, it further engrained in the American psyche the notion that black = criminal thug. Jim Crow and other legalized segregation continued ensuring that black people would be a marginalized class of people.

Do you know what happens when a parent continually tells a kid that they aren't good enough, that they're lesser than, that they're screwups? It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. That kid's psyche is so engrained with these negative messages that they believe them to be true.

Now, imagine being told by authority culture for three centuries that your skin color is lesser than, savage, dangerous. That even if you are a good citizen, even if you don't break the law, you'll still be looked at with suspicion because you're black. How would you respond?

You're only supposed to use the Wendy's response when someone goes on a long, meandering, non-fact based rant.

My rant had a clear focus and is supported by facts, and even ended with a pointed question.

Sounds like a lot of excuses to me. There is some merit in talking down to people of color. The left has told blacks this for years. The Dems have them convinced their only hope is the Democrat party.  How many dems support vouchers for private schools? You want to make life better for black people? Teach them the importance of two parent homes and allow them access to private education at a young age  Give them an education that prepares them for college and the work force. With this they can close the economic gap that produces crime. Stop the race baiting and social crumbs in exchange for votes
