I don’t know how much longer this shit in Portland can go on for.  That building has been under attack every night for the last month and it seems like the rioters are only getting more aggressive.  Will probably get pretty ugly soon enough

Wisconsin police officer fatally shoots black man allegedly wielding knives, family says race played role

A black man was shot a killed by a Wisconsin police officer Thursday after authorities say he chased a woman with a pair of knives and then advanced on the officer.

Family members of Kevan Ruffin, 32, said he had psychiatric issues but believe his race played a role in the shooting.

Sheboygan, Wis., Police Chief, Christopher Domagalski said police officers responded to a call that a man was chasing a women with “sai-style” kitchen knives at around 5:50 a.m.

According to a local news report, the responding officer tried to talk to him and fired his Taser before Ruffin allegedly charged him with the knives, "forcing the officer to use a firearm."

Harvard grad says she'll 'stab' anyone who says 'all lives matter,' later reveals death threats over 'joke'

A recent Harvard University graduate claims she is getting death threats over a TikTok video she made in which she threatened to stab anyone who tells her that “all lives matter.”

Claira Janover, who graduated in May with a degree in government and psychology, went viral after posting a short clip in which she attacked anyone with “the nerve, the sheer entitled Caucasity to say, ‘all lives matter.’”

“I’ma stab you,” the Connecticut native said, zooming in close on her face.

“I’ma stab you, and while you’re struggling and bleeding out, I’ma show you my paper cut and say, ‘My cut matters, too,’” she added.

I disagree with that first part. At least where I live I hear about teens being arrested for plotting to do a school shootings.

Definitely agree with everything else. Know a lot of kids that had good resource officers who provided some sort of positive influence that they had lacking at home or rebellious ones that cops were the ones to make a positive breakthrough for them.

I think we can assume this is about national level attention. There's also the times a kid may want to do it but doesn't want to get shot by the cop so he never goes through with it. I know our school police have thwarted many plans of violence. I don't know who they think will be intervening now.  I guess having a good plan to go along with virtue signaling is a requirement

Reports yesterday say she’s now been fired for her rants on social media.
Apparently they didn’t teach cause and effect at Harvard.

Maybe we should spend money on fixing the underlying issues and the reasons why my high school didn't need police on campus and other schools do. 

Count yourself lucky you had this experience. But it’s not just a socioeconomic issue. Sure, inner cities need serious help, but there are a lot more issues involved than wealth.

Definitely have no idea what the political ideas are.  It’s bird brained dumb guy thoughts like  “things I don’t like are Marxism” and theres not any substance beyond that. 

even you don’t agree with the solutions that Marx proposed.  His descriptions of capitalism and class dynamics(which is much of what Marx and Engels wrote) are brilliant.  Any person interested in learning things would find value.  Just like if you read the wealth of nations or mercantilism.  Read these things and consider the ideas.  Of course you won’t agree with everything.  It’s not an all or nothing thing.

I've read some stuff. It's definitely interesting. I don't think it could ever be implemented here but like I said these have become "bad words" like libtard or whatever the fuck. "Comrade" is my favorite thing to be called when I disagree with a far-right opinion.
