I know why they did it, it has just transformed the game. Also shows how good kris Bryant really is

It was supposed to transform the game to a more realistic version. It's much easier to discern the real good players because their stats aren't artificially inflated.

I guess that is my point lt, i watch college baseball to watch the ball fly. I don't watch it to see who will be a good pro hitter. But I can see why they did it.

SS, the biggest problem is this stadium.  I miss Rosenblat.  I am sure the stadiums will adjust now to the new bats.

Eric Filia has been clutch this post-season, but Berg keeps reminding me of our own closer Frieri... Can't seem to close-out a game cleanly.

 

I think they will bring the fences in a bit at the stadium for next season.  There have been a few balls crushed that would be out almost anywhere (not Blair Field of course).

Those white bats with the orange and gray graphics are the new Mako bat from Easton. It's not due to hit the market for a couple months. It's made of high impact plastic a new innovation from Easton.

One of the softball leagues I play in doesn't allow composite bats but the metal bats still have composite handles.  Any idea if the NCAA Baseball bats are all metal or do they have a composite handle?

There are composite bats that are bbcor. In fact the Easton bats you see in the CWS final (black and yellow) have composite materials. Some are all composite and some are partial.

BOOM!  Got number 109!  They totally dominated post season play, went 10-0.  Never expected it from this team.  First team in CWS history to allow 1 run or less in every game.  Also only the 5th school in NCAA to have a football, mens basketball and baseball NC.

They also kept their schools' NC streak intact!  A Championship every year since 1994!

UCLA does have one football NC however the NCAA does not recognize football NC's because it is determined by media polls.  I am not sure if the new playoff will change that.
