I remember the Faces of Death tapes floating around.  Someone had one of those VHS tapes and when one friend got a hold of it you couldn't back out and not watch which we all know is stupid but when you're a teenager you generally are an idiot.  Obviously graphic but most of the footage seemed to be appropriate for the 90's as far as poor video quality.  Who could have known that within 3-5 years we'd have widespread use of the internet which would eventually blow those types of tapes out of the water and desensitize generations.

Some Arab came around a corner and kneeled down to let go of a rocket launcher missile and some American sniper put one straight in his dome.

Liveleak has some crazy vids for sure.

I went through a class about a year ago, which was focuses in drug traffickers and cartel stuff. They asked everyone is the class if theyd like to skip the video portion. Nobody did, because its all salty cops, and nobody wants to look like a wuss.

3 guys in the class passed out. No bullshit. Fainted like in old black and white movies.

Like I said, gents...... pure evil is out there....

It sucks they took down the comments section of LiveLeak. They quit showing ISIS videos too. There was a gnarly one where some ISIS dude was peaking around the corner of the building and got his whole face blown off. He was alive for a good 5 minutes after it happened. Crazy.

Eh it is what it is. I don't remember being their too long......but a banana cream turtleneck, the only time I had chicken pox, and a scar on my knee from a scooter accident are fond memories.

What sucks is the last corporate place I worked at teamed up with them for a Christmas toy drive. I had a good year and wanted to go nuts and give back. My chick that worked there said no and it floored me. She told me they have an attic with so many unwrapped toys, clothes, etc. It was honestly deflating to hear how they hide shit or kind of ration things to the kids.

If you know Orangewood or had to take kids there, I bet you've seen some shit with youths, as well.

I've always been fascinated with snipers and went down a rabbit hole that lead me to the one I mentioned and this one you mention.

Talking to gun, rifle, etc. experts and seeing the science that goes into sniping is really interesting.

Mexico is Iraq/Syria, with better weed, good fishing, and a few nice resorts.

By far and away, Mexico has been more violent than Iraq over the past decade.

And the cartels have been hooked up with the cholo gangs here for the last 15 years or so.

Standby for when in the next decade or so, the paisas from the cartel realize they dont need the cholos anymore..... we'll be back to the late 80s, early 90s when that happens....

Essentially, it, like everything else, starts in the home....

Some people are born bad, but by far, more times than not its how people are raised. If you dont love AND discipline your kids, they stand a great chance they become turds.

As far as the cartel, ISIS types, a lot of that goes back to indoctrinating them as kids. ISIS made a big push at their peak having kids kill people... you take away their innocence that young, its easy to be evil as you get older. Especially when hard core meth use is involved...

Its the same way you get women to do brutal shit in porn... take women who were abused as kids, give them drugs, annnnnd "action!"

The cartel shit is just on an entirely different level. The things these people do to each other to punish/intimidate other cartels is horrifying.

I've seen the beheading videos. Hate them. They're barbaric. But there's one video I saw on Reddit a couple years ago (that subreddit doesn't exist anymore) that was, at the time, the final boss of the internet.

I don't recommend looking it up. But essentially

I applied for a different PD a few years back. The day before my interview, they called me to touch base. I said sorry, Im busy with a call at work. We had this quadruple cartel hit.

The next day i go to the interview. Smallllll ass department. But I had a buddy there, and he said with my experience I could promote quickly.

When I talked to them, I apologized for the day before. They said "no worries, we saw it on the news. That was crazy!"

I said meh, its an isolated thing. Not like i see it all the time. The guy says "you know, in our 60 whatever years, weve only had 7 homicides in this city."

I chuckled.... and go "Ive been on 6 this week, and I took today off for this interview."

That week was busy.

Another thing Ill say is that the overwhelming majority of bad shit never gets reported. I see people often say cops over dramatize things. I think this is because we see it all the time, while the general public doesnt.

I mentioned in a thread on here a few years back, Santa Ana did one full and one just short of year, back to back, where they averaged a shooting a day.

I think a very high percentage of them are sociopaths, and most likely under 30.
