1.  The loss of the season give Angel fans one less season of watching Pujols

2.  Dodgers traded a boatload for Mookie Betts and the season maybe wasted.

3.  Garret Richard's is a free agent again.  And has not pitched an inning since he was an angel.

4.  Angel's will not lose a starter to TJ surgery.  Is this the first time since 2013?

Rangers' James Jones tears patellar tendon tripping on son's toy

Michael BradburnApr 2 2020, 12:44 PM

Texas Rangers minor leaguer James Jones is proving that even social distancing can be hazardous.

The left-hander suffered a torn patellar tendon in his right knee Monday after tripping on his son's toy, according to TR Sullivan of MLB.com.

Jones underwent surgery Wednesday. The injury is expected to sideline him for the entire 2020 season if and when it begins, Sullivan adds.

The 31-year-old Jones converted to a full-time pitcher in 2017 after failing to make it as an outfielder with the Seattle Mariners. Across two minor-league levels last year, he authored a 2.67 ERA in 64 innings.
