Had body chills yesterday afternoon, went to a fever 99.8. Woke up at least six times last night and this morning the fever just broke but I don't trust it at all.

You guys might want to rethink your vote.

Get yourself tested, please. Don't sit on this if you have symptoms.

Testing isn't as easy as people think it is. Most of the local options require an appointment or a doctor's referral or both. I am in contact with my medical group and have a phone call set up to see if I can get a referral. Right now my fever crashed and I'm at 97.8, so it feels a little cold in here. I have none of the other symptoms of COVID but I am certainly not taking any chances. If the fever returns I will check into an Emergency room and definitely get tested.

In case y'all are wondering, my wife and I have been taking all of the precautions and my wife and I have been working from home for the last 10 weeks with few other interaction other than grocery shopping and the occaisional to go order for dinner. We never go out without our masks and Carol actually made us some with an extra filter layer between the inner and outer cloth. We have only seen our sons twice since this mess started and they are all following protocol as well.

This is where the system seems to be failing. Over here if you have symptoms you call the hotline and they'll come to you same day

Yeah, I don't get it. Here in San Antonio the public health department tests individuals for free if they're not covered and for free if you are as well. Furthermore,  you can basically get tested on the spot at any urgent care, and if you have insurance it will be covered. You can also get an antibody test (covered) if you suspect you may have had it.

If your ER coverage is good, that may make sense but may also be more expensive. We have 3 different kinds of COVID-19 tests that are run in facility,  with turnaround time ranging from 30 mins to up to 24 hours depending on the process used to run tests.

Please be safe and if you start having any respiratory distress get checked out quickly.

In LA proper testing is more widespread with drive through, stay in your car tests. I live on the outskirts of LA County and it is definitely not a hotspot so they are screening and determining if you qualify.

Currently I am at my medical center Urgent Care, did a questionnaire and will be talking with a doctor about if testing is needed. I would rather err on an abundance of caution rather than wait and see.

Blarg if you want to get tested I would google 'COVID 19 Test Near Me.'  I've seen them locally and when doing that right now there are 3 within 5 miles that pop up, no appointment or referral required at two of them while the other doesn't have that info available and at least one is doing drive through testing.  They're all through urgent care or medical groups.  Hoping it isn't COVID and you get over whatever it is sooner rather than later.

I'm on the couch with a hoodie and blanket watching game shows from the 70's. I think I fill out today's timecard as a sick day.

Make sure you disinfect common areas in the house you touch. Sleeping on the couch might be a good idea for you until you find out.

Pduff and his crew were always finding themselves in wacky situations. Like when the cousin used to beat the shit out of his wife. I wonder what kind of one liners @Franklin Bluth's dad wrote for PattyD in that episode.
