Why are you bringing up Eppler? I asked how a horrible GM could get a 9th rated farm system. If he is so horrible, how was he able to make those good trades? If he's as bad as many here claim, he should have a farm ranked worse than the Angels or worst in baseball.

Didn't Dipoto basically trade a bunch of his top farm guys for name players to win the west, the team failed to win and then he traded all those name players to rebuild the farm?

Ok if he was a good GM why did we have the worst farm in baseball?  Why the circle jerk when Ward “fell” to them in the first round?  Why the signing of Baldoquin for $14 million that prevented the team from being able to sign any international talent for two plus years?

Makes you wonder how prior to gutting the entire MLB team and taking on salary to acquire prospects he managed to take the Ms to a dead last farm system ranking in only two years.

what are you implying?  that he did a good job with our farm system while he was here or that the reason the farm system sucked upon his departure wasn't his fault?

Seattle was in true sell mode.   We'll see how those prospects fair, ultimately.    They don't have much currently at the MLB level to augment them.
