babe ruth played in what was essentially a beer league. if you transported cabrera back in time he'd probably have a career 400 wrc+

I don't care what Trout does this season, Cabrera is having potentially an historic season. On pace for 51 HRs and 195 rbis, and not in the PEDs era either.

Miguel Cabrera is still a terrible 3B. The Tigers would be best served DHing him and finding a competent 3B. Victor Martinez is cooked as a ball player.

If Trout keeps hitting like this he will probably deserve the MVP again. Miggy's defense is that bad at 3B.

Sucks that he clearly deserved it last year and didn't win because Miggy will most definitely win it this year.

Hes gone from about 195 pounds to right around 280 pounds in like 8 years. You know who else did that? Barry Bonds. Went from like 180-255 and both their numbers elevated rather suspiciously. Its plain as day hes juicing.

It realy has nothing to do with being 'old school' or ignoring advanced stats. It's a complete disregard for the value, or even existence, or defensive value or baserunning. Chicks dig the long ball.
