I wonder what its going to take to make some of you happy though, lol

Well, he spent last season in AAA and had a 6.59 ERA.

He's going to be 32 this year and was unemployed yesterday.

Woo fucking Hoo.

And the year before that was our winningest starter with a 4.15 before injury so...  i mean cherry pick stats all day long but why shit on the deal?  its nothing, minor league with invite.  if healthy again could make rotation, if not nothing lost.

Signed on minor league deal so nothing lost. I still remember Rich Hill bounced around for years. Start him at double A Salt Lake PCL brutal on pitchers.

The quality is questionable, but this is the absolute deepest group of MLB-capable SPs Eppler has assembled so far. I remember it being said the SP depth should be 8 or 10 deep...we’re currently at like  14 guys who have started enough games in the bigs to be considered as rotation depth.

Heaney, Ohtani, Teheran, Bundy, Canning, Sandoval, Andriese, Pena, Suarez, Barria, Peters, Gohara, Ramirez, Thompson...

Makes two of us... youre literally going out of your way to shit on a likely meaningless deal for no apparent reason other than i dont hate it.  Changes nothing, laugh away.

This is a stellar point. it should quell the conversation.
