There will be no shortage of science books in hell

You're going to go from a complete absence of punctuation keys to a neverending stream of science books? That's a win, whether or not you are smart enough to recognize it. You can ask all the soccer dads for help with the big words.

I have never claimed to be an intellectual. I know where to piss and can whip most any English major’s ass. Make twice the national average so life is pretty good for this Uneducated God fearing man.

Laughlin’s revival begins: Gamblers, casinos get reacquainted

Gaming has finally returned to Nevada and Laughlin has come back to life.

Throngs of people came pouring back into town from all across America, thanks in part to resumption of charter flights by two of Laughlin’s casino resort properties.

By 4 p.m., there was a large line waiting at the registration desk to check into the Edgewater Casino Resort. In compliance with guidelines set up by Gov. Steve Sisolak and the Nevada Gaming Control Board, all patrons were checked by staff at the door by hand-held thermometers. Spots placed on the floor in the registration line were the requisite 6 feet apart and all staff were wearing masks. Sanitizer stations were spread out across the floor for patrons to regularly use, and all facilities were being cleaned regularly.

At 12:01 a.m. Thursday, several of the casinos allowed slots and limited gaming but the bulk were waiting for the full opening of the gaming floors.

If there was any questions that gamblers would come back with COVID-19 still lurking in America, they were utterly trampled in a heartbeat under the feet of the mob of people hungry to get back into the casinos. No shortage of gamblers were found in Laughlin.

The Aquarius Casino Resort had just under 1,000 guests by 10:30 a.m.

I will never understand the opinion of being anti-science.

If you’re talking about how it relates to politics, I think a lot of the science used in political policies are cherry picked to support one sides opinions. When it comes to politics it’s hard to trust anything

So much for consistency of thought.    I get that politics has a science side and a religious side, which is very dumb.  Show me the list of presidents that openly didn’t believe in God.   Show me a list of presidents that were openly anti-science.  After that is done let’s introduce them to Cals alter ego KC who is anti science.

Blood group type may affect susceptibility to COVID-19 respiratory failure

Quote

A lead SNP was also identified on chromosome 9 at the ABO blood group locus, and further analysis showed that A-positive participants were at a 45% increased for respiratory failure, while individuals with blood group O were at a 35% decreased risk for respiratory failure.

Not peer reviewed.  But it's an interesting read.

Did you see the John Hopkins scientist who was pushing corona lockdowns. He now believes the racist virus is a bigger threat than corona. Science has been a huge benefit to man. My problem is with scientific theories that are treated as fact to shape serve political agendas. I am a creationists and the foundation of my belief is faith. There is supporting evidence but at the end of the day I can’t prove it. We once treated evolution this way but now it is become fact in schools. Scientists push man made climate change based off computer models. The same models are used to predict the weather and are pretty useless outside of 3 days.
