I’ve said before that I while I sympathize with what “sanctuary cities” are trying to do and honestly don’t give a shit about them.  Personally.  I don’t think it’s the correct way to deal with a fucking stupid enforcement policy from the feds.  That being true, I still think that being an earnest response to the extremely stupid blanket statement idea that California doesn’t enforce laws.  Just incredible.

We see all these videos of trucks fogging the roads in China/South Korea but I haven't seen any of that in Europe or the U.S.

I wonder why that is?

That's a good question. Depends on if they are just spraying disinfectant they could roll down my block. I have a friend who owns a bug spray company and that has slowed down so he has branched off into disinfecting properties, except he is going into hospitals but an account is an account.  I have seen them spray for mosquitos in my neighborhood so use some Lysol.

I guess the environmentalists would complain.

This quote (from a person at a great place) is what I've been thinking all along.

"As many have pointed out, there is no evidence that the virus now plaguing the world was engineered; scientists largely agree it came from animals. But that is not the same as saying it didn’t come from the lab, which spent years testing bat coronaviruses in animals, said Xiao Qiang, a research scientist at the School of Information at the University of California at Berkeley."
