Everything about Trump is fake. The dude lies more than he breathes. Trump just spewing shit out of his meat grinded mind, even if it's untrue doesn't make it "organic."

You telling me the Bible isn’t Trump’s favorite book?!?!?

Although I can’t blame if he likes the porn parts in the OT.

Meh. I think he’s pretty fucking stupid.  Not impressed with regurgitating decades old far right ideology in a squeaky bitch voice.   I wouldn’t characterize it as articulate.  That’s just me.

You might want to look up the definition of inarticulate.

Ya that was terrible to watch. Something weird struck me about that video though. There didn’t seem to be a shortage of PPE and there were many unused ventilators grouped together. That hospital was getting slammed but it looked like they were well supplied.

Coming back to this...

There is a shortage of PPE. Staff are being advised to reuse supplies that heretofore have been deemed single use only due to infection prevention concerns. In the healthcare setting, an N95 mask is a single use item. Reuse provides many more opportunities for infection to the user, even if the equipment is sterilized after a day's use.

We have about 150 N95s left. I have approximately 60 staff, about 55 of whom are at significant risk for COVID-19 exposure on the job. We can't get replacements. We are restricting their use to known high risk situations. It is the unknown ones that worry me. I am having to make administrative decisions that may profoundly affect people's lives, and it's all over personal protective equipment availability. It is a spot that I had rather not be in, but all that I can do is make the best judgment possible under the circumstances.

I received notice about an hour ago that the county jail in Las Vegas, from where we get the bulk of our intakes, has identified a positive case in custody. We now face the nearly impossible task of identifying anyone who has come through intake in the past two weeks who may have been exposed to him. If that gets started on the yard, it's game over.

So far, my agency has had four positive cases at three different facilities, two of them at mine. All have been employees. We have been fortunate that they have not been personnel with extensive inmate contact.

Nevada has to be taking by the chin, with most of the economy, and jobs in the casino/hotel business. Sucks man, hopefully this shit ends soon.

At least you guys have some masks...

We were given cloth ones today, which are supposed to replace the 2 surgical ones we got last week.

The cloth ones dont fit snug on my face, so im not sure what good they do.

BUT.... i do finally look like a Cobra soldier, which is all i ever wanted. (Ours are black)

The bulk of the staff are wearing cloth, out of necessity. This includes the entire custody and administrative staffs, and all of medical except for the high risk situations that I mentioned. Our prison industries operation has stepped up and made a lot of the cloth ones that are being used.

We are selling decontamination sprayers, you know those giant fog machines that people use to clear a place off.  People who are working <6 feet from each other, and some who are working further are buying acrylic panels to place in between them.   There is a station that has water mixed with bleach, on a wet carpet that you step into before going to the office/plant.   Besides that, we have some little metal piece you use to pull open a door with your foot.  Sensor business is OK, I guess because people want to make more things touchless.

Probably going to add more products in the coming months.  Places that are shut down are not going to want to open back up without some extra protection.  Just got thousands of gallons of sanitizer......

We are certainly working hard.  Its like the wild west.  Point is that the economy is still turning in a lot of places and in a few places faster than before.

We see all these videos of trucks fogging the roads in China/South Korea but I haven't seen any of that in Europe or the U.S.

I wonder why that is?
