Not to piss on your parade but these numbers pretty much match unvaccinated individuals. Obviously we don’t have all the facts of their study but saying the vaccine saved  everyone under 65 and healthy people isn’t a modern miracle. I believe it benefits the healthy bit there is quite a bit of data that suggest that it has some risk for the younger generation. Those facts don’t seem to flow as freely from the cdc and that’s a damn shame

We lost more people with the vaccine than without. You can blame delta or opening up as the primary culprits but we shouldn’t discount the single minded approach of vaccine mania. We’ve had a year of an administration slow rolling therapeutics and treatments. Some that are new and many that were successful early in the pandemic. The reality is our ventilators and Remdisivir probably killed half the duckers the first year. It isn’t popular but a lot of limp dick doctors followed flawed science or were intimidated by the fda to act against their patients best interest.  It’s pretty simple science by now. Zinc will defeat covid and all it needs is the delivery drug. You can do it with iver , hydro , and some otc drugs. if we ever decide to use the science it will be delivered in an $800 pill from phizer

That's incorrect. The rush to put people on vents was slowed rather early on here in the US. Providers and staff were questioning the emphasis on vents by April of 2020. By the time we had our first surge here in summer 2020, putting a patient on a vent was an absolute last ditch thing. We would try just about everything else available to us first. Blaming large numbers of deaths on vents after like May if 2020 seems like bullcrap to me.

Remdesivir has probably harmed some people and had limited benefit for others. The data on its efficacy is shaky. It does look like it may actually be of benefit when administered before hospitalization is necessary, but there are better alternatives.

I actually agree that the approach to therapeutics has been piss poor. They should have been studying shit way earlier than now. If course it's all about $$$$.

With that said, vaccines are what has been available and should NEVER been politicized as they were. They've been insanely effective to this point at preventing severe cases and death. They're certainly not perfect, but they saved a shit ton of lives and could have saved more.

Our healthcare system was messed up before, but acute care settings are truly fucked staffing wise for quite a while from here on out.

We have got to do better and it starts with making people healthier in general.

Whereas before a patient with COVID in the hospital was 9 out of 10 times there for treatment due to COVID-19, so far with this group it seems to me to be about 40% incidental cases.

The problem is that people are really fudging sick in general. There's just not enough people to take care of them.
