Not sure if anyone posted it, or if I missed it.  But for anyone who wants it, here is the entire report:

"Notwithstanding the publicity surrounding the Red Sox incident, and the September 15th memorandum that I sent to all Clubs, the Astros continued to both utilize the replay review room and the monitor located next to the dugout to decode signs for the remainder of the regular season and throughout the Postseason."

Take away their title!

They, specifically Lunhow floated the idea. With the way that Manfred discussed the culture in the Astros organization in the report, I hope they now do not consider the plan because of the motivations of the team that wrote it.

The report says otherwise. Luhnow’s guilt, per the report, was in being aware of it and not taking action of any kind against it - not even making sure they saw the memo from the commissioners office specifically detailing what they were engaging in as cheating.

How the players don't get suspended is beyond me. 25 games at the minimum. There is more than enough evidence showing the players fully bought into this. If someone didn't know what was going on, their head was up their ass. It's why you had Fiers selling them out. It's total crap that altered the results of the 2017 season.

Manfred’s argument is it would be impractical for a number of reasons. You can read the report. Particularly he notes that some of those players are now on other teams. He doesn’t mention, but I think it’s relevant, that he doesn’t want to pick a fight with PA.

They basically did.

if he was involved in also doing this with the bosox, i'd guess two years suspension at the minimum. you could easily make the argument for a lifetime ban for him.

I believe that the Astros' punishment will pale in comparison to this, since Cora is linked to both schemes.

Question is how could they not? Even if they weren’t cheating in 2019 bit now this is hanging over them and all the questions and firings. They are human still, even if crappy ones, and this has to have an effect.

It’s a fair question. No Hinch, either. Everyone will be pissed at them when they roll into town.

Pretty late in the offseason to replace the Astros' top 2 decision-makers. I'm good with it.

The owner canned their behinds an hour after the suspensions were made. He's looking for permanent manager and GM hires.

With the coming draft losses, it's probably gonna be hard to attract top-shelf talent in 2020.

Can you say:

HOUSTON, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!!! HEE-HEE-HEE!!!

My comment was in reference to the contraction plan for the minors. I just feel it's tainted now too, because of the way they criticized Lunhow's behavior in the front office.

If I could go back in time, I'd strangle Pete Rose in his crib.  Just so I'd never ever ever have to hear another "why isn't Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame/why is he suspended for life?" comment, or see it on the internet.

For all you young uns, the first years of sports talk radio seemed to talk about Pete Rose and the HOF ALL THE TIME.

I have no animosity to Rose.  I just have less than zero interest in ever hearing anything about it again.
